About UMA
The Umatilla Morrow Alternatives (UMA) is a non-profit human dignity group we are focused on acceptance and equality for all.
We also will help youths to learn about activism and fighting for what you believe in. They are welcome to bring a project to us and if it falls with in the vision of the group then we can help them to develop a healthy way of observing the issue that means something to them through our resources, and experience.
We provide Free Hiv testing peer to peer support groups for Hiv/Aids, Hepatitis C, and the Gay lesbian bisexual, and transgender community, the members of the group either support or live with these issues from all ages, races, genders, and walks of life.
We also offer Public speakers that live in these lifestyles so that a school or community can bring education and understanding to these issues.
We are also working on getting the Latin community more involved with us they are not alone and should not feel like it.
The UMA is not limited to these issues, we are a part of the ROP network of human dignity groups to learn more about them please visit ROP Website.
We also observe World Aids Day (December 1st) and National coming out Day October 11th, we encourage all family, friends, and anyone else that supports or wants to learn to join us and create and a welcoming community. We are not limited to this list.
