this is a great idea and i have been blessed to be a part of this workshop working towards more social justice
well to say the least i’m disappointed. I expected far more than what did show up. But on the otherhand the ones that did show up showed who we were with strength and commitment and even people from Portland came that was tremendous.
Thanks to all

june 5 - 8th http://latinogaypridepdx.com/event-details/

it’s to bad that all the government goes on is numbers they’ve lost the human part of humanity
Sorry for not writing more but i’ve been traveling around causing trouble when i have time i will write a more detailed message
The racial initiative for the NW was hosted this weekend in Kent washington with people from Alaska, Montana, Oregon, Washington. This has been the most enlightening group of people that i have had the opportunity of meeting.
While i’m sitting in portland a day before another event i feel relieved and relaxing because here i am not a leader i am not anyone, I am just another gay guy in a city that won’t see the same people on the street more than 2x. it’s just not that way in a rural Oregon the city folks take this liberty for granted here. and I envy them .
Just last week, four state legislators took the unprecedented
step of co-sponsoring two initiatives aimed at taking away the
rights of LGBT Oregonians. State Senator Gary George is one of
the Republican co-sponsors of the anti-gay initiative to repeal
Oregon’s non-discrimination law.
Here’s what State Senator Gary George has to say about the GLBT
community…
“My advice to the gay community is SHUT UP, just don’t talk
about it. If you walk around talking about what you do in the
bedroom, you should be on the pervert channel.”
Senator George and three other Republican state legislators
filed paperwork last week to repeal both our nondiscrimination
law and the Domestic Partnership law. They want to take away
rights from lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Oregonians.
And the question is: will we let them get away with it?
