Projects We are Working on Right Now


  • Getting access to school system as AIDs speakers.
  • Putting a local face to AIDs: : Speakers talking about different ways we've contracted (HIV/AIDS/HVC). Some of us are straight people, some gay people and some drug contact's. We use personal stories and paint pictures showing that AIDs is more than a disease. It involves the community and personal relationships as well.
  • Putting on a community information forum (GLBT/HIV/AIDS/HVC) Spring 2007.
  • Work on getting more sponsors.
  • Getting latin community more active in testing HEPC/HIV.
  • Gaining support within latin community.
  • Parade float to increase visibility (Pendleton Roundup, Irrigon Watermelon Festival, Umatilla Country fair).
  • Booth at fairs and local events to offer Free HIV testing and increase visibility and be a part of these communities.
  • Gear up for Gay Unions 2007.
  • Find other gay friendly business.
  • Finding more volunteers.
  • Creating a crisis center
